Julie Charnosky, MS RD LDN FAND
Julie is the owner of Start Fresh Nutrition and nutrition expert with nearly 20 years experience helping clients in Central Pennsylvania discover how to live their healthiest lives through nutrition. She has a bachelor’s degree in nutrition from Penn State University and completed her dietetic internship at Penn State. Julie also had a master’s in Clinical Nutrition from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science.
Julie uses a unique coaching style that is focused on habit changes and other tools such as mindful eating, realistic goal setting and accountability. Julie also focuses on how to get motivated and maintain motivation. She works to find a plan that is sustainable. Julie is experienced in a wide-range of medical conditions and specializes in pediatric obesity, eating disorders, and diabetes.
Julie resides in Newville with her husband, Josh. They are raising two fierce karate-loving girls. Their family enjoys kayaking, paddle boarding, spending time at the family cabin, and watching all things sports. At any given time, you can find them on their bikes at the nearest rail trail. Julie is a huge fan of entrepreneurs Gary Vaynerchuk and Rachel Ray.
Megan Greevy, MS RD LDN
Megan has over six years of experience working with clients of various backgrounds to live their healthiest lives. Megan completed her bachelor’s degree in nutrition at Mansfield University, then went on to do her dietetic internship and master’s degree through East Carolina University in North Carolina. Megan has a certificate of training in adult weight management.
Megan focus’ her nutrition counseling and coaching on working with the client and helping them find what will work best in their lives-healthy eating plans are not one size fits all. Megan believes that small attainable changes over time can make a big difference when it comes to health. Megan has experience in obesity/weight management including working with bariatric surgery clients and non-surgical weight loss clients. Other areas of experience include working with most chronic diseases (heart disease, diabetes) and other health conditions.
Megan and her husband Scott live in Mechanicsburg and have two fun and loving dogs. Megan and her husband love to spend time outdoors especially hiking, camping and kayaking. Megan loves all things food-from growing food in her garden to cooking to searching the grocery store for new foods to try.
